Noel Cooper was Coordinator of Religious Education for the York Catholic District School Board from 1972 until 1998. He developed curriculum for Religious Education and Family Life Education, assisted teachers in classrooms, and offered courses and conferences for teachers. He was a member of the writing team for the student text and teachers’ manual of the “Born of the Spirit” program for Grades 7 and 8, published by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops. Noel has a licentiate in Sacred Theology, Angelicum University and Sacred Scripture from Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome.

Walter Vogels is a member of he Society of the Missionaries of Africa; he studied in Leuven, Rome, Ottawa, Jerusalem and Paris. He is professor emeritus Old Testament of Saint Paul University, Ottawa, and frequent visiting professor at universities and institutes worldwide and each year in Israel. He has published 25 books and over 200 articles in academic and pastoral journals and dictionaries in English, French and Dutch. Among his latest English books: Becoming Fully Human, Words of Wisdom, and Biblical Human Failures.

Bereavement Support Group for anyone who is experiencing the loss of a loved one. Topics discussed: Understanding Grief; Helping Yourself Heal.
For the past ten years, Linda Wisz has been the Bereavement Director at Nativity of our Lord Church. Her experience in this role has evolved over the years, beginning with many years of personal experiences and ministering one-on-one to those in need. Pre-registration is required as the space is limited. The sessions are offered free of charge.
